Morehead Machining, Inc. offers the best in CNC and manual machining. We machine from one piece to 1000's of pieces and short and long production runs. We machine components from different types of materials including aluminum, steel, stainless steel, brass, bronze, Inconel, plastics and composite materials.

Not only can we machine parts from your prints, but we can import most solid models into MasterCAM and SolidWorks and machine your complex shaped parts. Don't have a print? We can design you a print from your existing part or from your sketches.

CNC Milling Machines:

MMI has 6 CNC milling machines in house including 2 Haas VF1's, a VF2 and a VF3, a Protrak mill and an Ocuma mill machine. We can mill parts up to 40" x 20" x 25" in size out of many different material including aluminum, steel, stainless steel, Inconel, brass, bronze, plastics and composite materials. Our CNC mills can accommodate your one piece prototype order, as well as your short and long production runs.

CNC Lathes:

MMI has two Haas SL10 lathes and a Haas SL20 CNC lathe. We can turn parts up to 20" in diameter. The Haas SL series lathes are the workhorse for your short and long term production runs. We also have bar feeding capability to increase output and decrease part cost for your production runs.

Manual Milling Machines:

MMI has a dozen manual milling machines for machining a variety of low volume orders or repair and rework to your existing parts. Our manual mills include digital read outs for accurate and repeatable work.

Manual Lathes:

MMI has 5 manual lathes of various sizes. We can machine up to 15" in diameter and up to 72" long.

Surface grinders:

MMI has 3 surface grinders that we commonly use for making and repairing punches and dies.
